Make Your Own Gingerbread House
Friday, December 9 6-7:30pm
Keep your kitchen clean this season and make your gingerbread house at the Community Center. While sipping on hot chocolate, with festive music in the background, let your design style take over decorating your gingerbread house.

Lunch with Santa
Sunday, December 11 1-3pm
Spend your afternoon with Santa having a light lunch, making crafts, and participating in games. Bring your camera to capture the moment of when it your little one's time when you little one visit's with Santa

The countdown is on till Christmas morning. If you need time to shop and wrap, drop your little "elf" at the Community Center for fun games, activities and a snack.

Snowman Photo Contest
December 1-February 28
Calling all Clarendon Hills families to head out into the snow and build a snowman. Take a photo and submit it to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off at 315 Chicago Avenue at the Community Center. Include your family name and contact information. The Grand Prize Winner will be contacted March 3.
Drive-In Movie Night
Saturday, January 7 5:00-7:30pm
Brr...it's cold outside. Let's get a little feeling of summer by creating an indoor drive-in movie theatre. The Disney Pixar classic "Cars" is perfect for families to construct a cardboard "car" at home over the winter break and drive (bring) it over to sit in while watching the movie.
Watch as Lightning McQueen takes a detour into the slow moving Route 66 town of Radiator Springs, befriending Mater, the Tow Truck, and Sally, the Porsche, learning that life is more about the voyage than the outcome of the race. Themed activities start at 5p and movie at 5:30pm. Running time is 116 minutes. Rated G

Teen Night Open Skate
Friday, January 27 6-8pm
All Clarendon Hills Tweens & Teens are invited to lace up their ice skates and come out to a Friday night Open Skate. Enjoy the night air sipping on hot chocolate and hanging out with your friends and family under the lights at Prospect Park Tennis Courts.

Family Fun Night

Clarendon Hills residents, bring your family out for a night of fun games and activities this winter evening. The Park District will serve up a great night to get your family moving and have fun.

Daddy Daughter Dance - Sweet Treats
Friday, February 24 6-8:00pm
Invite your "little sweet" to a night of dinner and dancing at the Park District. Dads and daughters will enjoy crafts and games then finish the night off with a sweet dessert. Each daddy daughter couple will leave with a memento to remember their special evening.

Mommy Son Medieval Date Night

Calling all Knights and Dames! Moms and their little knights are invited to an evening of fun with the Clarendon Hills Park District. Start the evening off with a craft and dinner then onto games and activities. The night would not be complete without a photo booth snapshot and dessert. Each Knight night will receive a memento to remember their special evening with their Dame.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Friday, April 14
Join us for breakfast with the Easter Bunny before our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Donuts, milk, juice and coffee will be served from 8:30-10:00am. The Easter Bunny will be joining us for breakfast so don't forget your camera. We encourage everyone to stay and enjoy face painting, washable tatoos and a magic show!

Easter Egg Hunt
Friday, April 14
The Park District is hosting its' Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Prospect Park. Bring your basket to fill with colorful eggs. Check each egg before you leave because may are stuffed with a special prize. In case of inclement weather, the hunt will take place indoors.

Count the Jelly Beans
March 13-April 14
Stop by the Community Center to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar. Two prizes will be awarded to the children whose guesses are closest to the count. The contest is for children ages 3-12.
