Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
Friday, April 14
Join us for breakfast with the Easter Bunny before our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Donuts, milk, juice and coffee will be served from 8:30-10:00am. The Easter Bunny will be joining us for breakfast so don't forget your camera. We encourage everyone to stay and enjoy face painting, washable tatoos and a magic show! Open to residents and non-residents.

Easter Egg Hunt
Friday, April 14
The Park District is hosting its' Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Prospect Park. Bring your basket to fill with colorful eggs. Check each egg before you leave because may are stuffed with a special prize. In case of inclement weather, the hunt will take place indoors.

Count the Jelly Beans
March 13-April 14
Stop by the Community Center to guess how many jelly beans are in the jar. Two prizes will be awarded to the children whose guesses are closest to the count. The contest is for children ages 3-12.
Saturday, April 22
Stop by the Prospect Park Pavilion to celebrate Earth Day in the park. It will be a fun morning filled with making crafts from recycled items, planting a flower, face painting and Earth Day games. Bring a friend and build a birdhouse. There will be a bin to recycle crayons and gym shoes. See you at the Pavilion.
This is a free event.
Hop Skip & Jump
Jump into summer at the parks in town. Join the Park District staff for an entraining morning of play and organized games. At each park visit you will learn about the history of the parks before the games and fun start. Grab your friends and arrange a play date to join in the excitement.

Art in the Parks
Enjoy the beautiful parks in Clarendon Hills while making crafts and playing games! Get outside and come play! Each week will highlight a different theme for crafts and games. In case of inclement weather, we will cancel and registered participants will be notified via email by 9:00am the day of the program.
The program is free, but registration is required.

Come kick the summer off right with TRUCK LOADS of fun at our Touch-A-Truck event in Prospect Park. It is a family event that showcases many types and kinds of transportation, trucks and machinery. It is an open, free family friendly event that gives children and adults a chance to see, up-close, the large machines that we are often in awe of. From dump trucks to fire engines and large machinery equipment, your child will be able to on it all.
Ice Cream Social

Prospect Park Pavilion
It's not summer without ice cream! Join us at Prospect Park Pavilion for an old fashioned ice cream social. Vanilla ice cream with a variety of yummy toppings will be provided for you to create your ice cream sundae. Arrange to meet family and neighbors for a treat or meet new families while enjoying the park and your frosty treat. This is a free event.

Prospect Park Ponds
Grab your pole and head over to Prospect Park Ponds for our Annual Fishing Derby! The pond will be stocked with farm-raised catfish and bass for the event. Trophies will be awarded for the Longest Fish caught in each age group; 7&Under, 8-12, 13-17 and 18&Older. This is a catch and release event and a two pole limit will be enforced. Don't forget to bring a bucket, bait and poles.
This is a free event for Clarendon Hills residents only.
Movies in the Park
Grab your friends and family to enjoy the evenings watching a movie under the summer stars at Prospect Park. The Clarendon Hills Park Foundation will be at the movies selling limited concessions.

Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. The aliens agree, but they steal the powers of NBA basketball players, so Bugs gets some help from superstar Michael Jordan.
